PTFE Tapes & Seals

100% PTFE supplied on rolls. PTFE joint sealant forms a soft, very compressible seal. Effectively fills flange imperfections for a tight, leak-free seal, even under pressure. Good creep resistance and bolt torque retention properties. Often used at lower flange bolting torque than other gasketing materials due to its conformability.

Excellent resistance to chemical attack. Temperatures to 500°F (260°C). Pressure to 2,000 psi (138 bar). Suitable for cryogenic use to -320°F (-195°C).

TEF-CORD PTFE Valve Stem Seal and Packing is available in a variety of sizes and lengths. Highly conforming and exhibiting long service life. Will not age, harden, shrink or dry out in service. Helps to extend valve life and ease of use.

Industry-standard pipe-threading tape – makes it easy to drive the male pipe deeper while filling minute gaps to prevent seepage. Pipe thread tape also makes it easier to disassemble the joint later by reducing thread galling, the tendency of some types of pipe threads to stick together over time.
