Gaskets are normally cut from a flat sheet material such as paper, rubber, silicone, cork, compressed sheet, neoprene, nitrile rubber, fiberglass, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) among many others.
Gaskets are cut to size with or without bolt holes in various thickness and materials - whatever is suitable to the media, temperature, and pressures of the application – all of which factors into material selection.
JBSC stocks hundreds of grades of gasket materials – solid, closed cell, and open-cell rubbers, non-asbestos compressed fiber, food-grade materials, PTFE, EPDM, FKM, cork and cork blends, natural gum rubber, and many more. Our experienced application and production specialists will be glad to assist you in the selection of the best material for your application.
We can custom cut any type of gasket, sheets and cut-to-width strips. – tell us what kind of custom gasket you need.
Roll goods are sold by the foot, complete rolls, and by specific sheet sizes per customer request.
